Along with the continuous enhancement of environmental protection requirements in the world, the control index about sulphur content of diesel fuel stipulated in the relevant standard has been improved continuously; however, in the course of purification and desulfurization of diesel fuel, the components that can provide lubrication effectively are also removed so the diesel fuel lubricity becomes worse; therefore, the commercially available diesel fuel product shall be added with antiwear lubricating improver to meet the use requirements of fuel injection pump of diesel vehicle in accordance with the international practices. Now, the evaluation of diesel fuel lubricity by HFRR is the popular standard test method in the international。


The CMS-01 High-frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR) for assessment of diesel fuel lubricity, standard test articles (balls and pieces) and standard reference fluid used for tester calibration are designed, researched and manufactured by the Company independently. This product has been delivered in batch to many oil refineries, quality supervision and inspection authorities, scientific research institutes and other organizations, and been well received by the users. The CMS-01 tester has improved the control accuracy of exciter stroke, and solved the periodic stroke calibration difficulty of imported tester; meanwhile, the air conditions in the test cabinet is controlled automatically in accordance with the allowable environment temperature and humidity range stipulated in the standard ISO 12156.1-2016, which has solved the difficulty of other tester that the environment temperature and humidity are hard to control accurately, and the disturbance if any cannot be intervened at real time. Moreover, many other features have been improved technically, including tester base structure, connecting mode of exciter shaft lever, installation mode of lower test piece(test plate), clamp structure of upper test piece(test ball), control system, software operation interface, oil temperature control strategy, test parameter online monitoring, test data real-time storage and digital microscope measuring system so this product is much easier, convenient and efficient to operate.

This tester is  designed pursuant to the test indexes stipulated in the standard the test method requirements ISO 12156-1:2016, and the test conditions for evaluating the diesel fuel lubricity, and reach the international advanced level. This tester has obtained the utility model patent certificate at No. ZL2008 2 0127486.5 issued by the State Intellectual Property Office, and been tested by the national analytical instrument quality supervision and inspection center and appraised by the Expert Team of China Instruments Manufacturers Association. To ensure the accuracy and validity of data, the metering instrument needing calibration is provided with the calibration certificate issued by the qualified national authority when the equipment leaves the factory. 

Now, the CMS-01 High-frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR) for assessment of diesel fuel lubricity is the most advantageous version among the technical improvement and upgrade of products of same kind in the world. The automatic constant temperature and humidity control system was first proposed and applied in the High-frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR) for assessment of diesel fuel lubricity by the Company, and has obtained the national patents at No. ZL2012 20533766.2 (semiconductor refrigeration) and No. ZL2013 20497422.5 (compressor refrigeration). This technology and other technologies such as reflective grating ruler for stroke control have represented that our technology in the field of High-frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR) for assessment of diesel fuel lubricity is ahead of domestic and foreign products of same kind.

In order to match the execution of the revised international standard ISO 12156-1:2016, in September 2017, we entrusted the Machinery Industry Analytical Instrument Quality Supervision and Testing Centre of China to perform the comprehensive analytical inspection and test on our CMS-01 tester, in accordance with each requirements of standard ISO 12156-1:2016. The test results have proven that our product completely meets the requirements of ISO 12156-1:2016 and can well control the test air condition, and the test repeatability and reproducibility are obviously lower than the range stipulated in the standard. Description of CMS-01 test software

CMS-01 tester: With a concise and clear panel of the software, the general test technician can operate the equipment without any difficulty. The basic configuration includes the computer interaction terminal for data acquisition and display so the user can observe the data curve at real time during test, read and browse the complete historic test data, check and compare the change of every parameter during the different test process, and generate the complete report consisting of data, curve and picture of test piece. Besides the test process, every parameter of the tester can be calibrated clearly and easily on the computer operation interface.

Advantages: The computer temperature terminal that is provided as default configuration included in the whole test system, it has a simple interface and rich functions, and is easy for the user to operate.

1.Frequency: 50 ± 1Hz, or settable within 10~200Hz

2. Stroke length: 1±0.02mm, or settable between 20μm and 2.0mm; stroke detector is calibration-free; meanwhile, the electronic verifying     device for dynamic stroke with a resolution better than 1μm is provided.

16. The test cabinet is coated with anti-corrosive primer, and the parts and fasteners in the cabinet are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel or hard aluminum alloy 


1. The voltage fluctuation range of power supply shall not be ±5% over the nominal voltage; the power supply is provided with ground protection;

2. There is no mechanical vibration, magnetic field interference or corrosive material around the tester;

3. The tester shall be placed on the test bench with terrazzo, marble or granite surface, and be fastened securely;

4. Installation space: the work bench carrying the tester shall have a length not less than 2000cm and a width not less than 55cm; the recommended area of test site is not less than 15m2;

5. Power supply of equipment: 220V/50HZ± 10%;

6. Operating time: no special requirement; the tester can operate continuously for long period.
